Kundalini Yoga What is Kundalini Yoga? Kundalini Yoga is referred to as the Yoga of Awareness. It is the form of yoga offered for all adult classes with DeLora (Sat Avtar), your registered, certified Kundalini yoga teacher. Kundalini Yoga, which has a thousands of years old history in India, has been in the United States since about 1969. It is very powerful form of yoga incorporating both physical and meditative components.
Kundalini Yoga links breath with movement to help you build a harmony
between body, senses, and mind. Classes start with 10-20 minutes of
warm-up exercises to prepare you for the yoga sets (called "Kriyas"
in Kundalini yoga), which are a combination of physical postures (asanas),
breath-work (pranayama), mudras (yoga for your hands), and a meditative
mindset. Combined together, these components can lead to a happier,
healthier self. What
can Kundalini Yoga do for me?
Your
physical health is dependent not just on your body, but also your mind.
Kundalini offers a path to happiness and emotional wellness also, helping
you to develop your intuition and increase your creativity, to uncover
what is important to you, helping you break bad habits and replace them
with healthy ones. Who
